A List of Some of My Favorite Islamic Sites and Resources Online

I thought that I would compile a list of Islamic sites that I have found particularly useful throughout my journey as a Muslimah. Here you will find Islamic video, audio, and written articles and info (mostly in English). Some of these I have stumbled upon myself and others have been suggested to me.

MuniQaba- Mash’Allah that would be an honor to be your classmate! Insh’Allah definatley try to check them out! The best part about those sites with live classes are that they are both *fitnah free*. There is no private messaging, no ads, it’s great!

I have been attending classes at sunnahfollowers.net for about 2 years now. Mash’Allah, I really can not say enough about it. Alhamdulliah. As for chatislam the only classes I have attended there are a couple of the weekend ones by Shaykh Al Amry. But what I have heard has been great, Alhamdullilah.

There are some Malaysian language videos on IslamicTube (www.islamictube.net) for kids called “Upin and Ipin” Mash’Allah really nice for young kids.

wasalam I can say that I too am very sad al Hediya is going out of buisiness. As a rather tall sister of 185cm or 6 feet in height, I’d like to add a couple that weren’t on your list:
http://www.modestyisbeautiful.com (also http://www.alsundus.com) is Al Sundus.com based out of Pakistan, great clothing store for Muslimahs they ship worldwide and they have great stuff. I use them alot.
also Al Hannah (www.alhannah.com) the American Islamic clothing store, based in NJ I think but great for Islamic household goods, hijabs and accessories as well as clothing. And the last clothing store I’ll add is http://www.desertstore.com (Desert Store.com) based out of Jeddah, KSA has some very pretty caftans adn abayas and jilbabs and what is best of all is most of their abayas come with matching hijab included in the price. As far as book stores, I can add one more Maryland based Islamic Bookstore Online (www.islamicbookstore.com) have a great day and the list was nice but these are my suggestions for additions masalam- Anna

Also a sister mentioned about being tall the Essenceofblack.com from what I understand makes all of their abayas which includes tall and plus sizes sisters.
