Waalaikumsalam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Sister Umm Yusuf,
I am in Brunei Darussalam (closest neighbouring countries Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore…) in Southeast Asia. Our Eid ul-Fitre celebration has been officially announced to be on Thursday October 2nd 2008 i.e. tomorrow. Due to non-sighting of new Syawal moon (Hilal) conducted yesterday afternoon in this Abode of Peace. Anyway we started our fasting on September 2nd so 30 days of Ramadan, complete! Alhamdullillah. Eid Mubarak!
In Malay, we say: Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri…
Since we are all one under One God. regardless of nationality or religion, Eid Mubarak to my Muslim bros and sisters.
Big happy hug to all of you from Mexico
Eid Mubarak to everyone..:)
