How To Pray (Salat)-Step By Step

Some people have emailed asking how to pray. So, here are videos made by IISNA (Islamic & Information Services Network of Australia)  on how to pray step by step.

While I think these videos are excellent, I strongly suggest everyone (especially brothers) to go to the masjid to learn how to pray.  I say especially brothers because as we know from Hadiths, men should make as many prayers as possible in the masjid.

This is very good…………. request you to kindly let us know for womens video on how to do namaz for womens.

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabaraktuhu Sister,

Women pray exactly the same way men pray. There is no authentic hadith or Qur’an that states women pray differently. The Prophet (Saw) said : Pray as you have seen me pray (agreed on). So, that’s it. We all pray the way He (SAW) prayed.
